Who we are

This Service is provided by Make It Count Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (HE 449923), which is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can contact us at [email protected].

This app is not affiliated with Spotify Inc. It uses Spotify’s official API.

Personal data we process

  • Account data – email address and password (stored hashed), or your Sign in with Apple identifier. Purpose: creating your account and syncing your alarms across devices. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • Music account link – if you connect Spotify, we access, with your authorisation, your profile and subscription tier, your private and collaborative playlists, your saved library, your most listened items and the artists you follow, and we control playback on your devices so your alarm can start at the time you set. If you connect Apple Music, we access your music library through Apple’s framework with the permission you grant on the device. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by disconnecting the account.
  • Subscription data – a pseudonymous app user ID and your purchase and entitlement state. Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your card details. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
  • Usage and diagnostics – product interaction events, device model, operating system version, crash reports. Purpose: keeping the app reliable and improving it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
  • Support conversations – the content of your messages, any photo or file you choose to attach, and your email address, when you contact us in the app. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • Advertising measurement – through RevenueCat we collect your device’s vendor identifier and, if you installed the app after seeing an ad on the App Store, the attribution token Apple provides for it. Together these tell us how many installs and subscriptions our marketing produces. The app does not ask for the iOS tracking permission, does not access your device’s advertising identifier, and sends nothing to any advertising network. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our marketing.

We do not process special categories of data, we do not track your location, and we do not sell personal data.

Third-party service providers

  • Supabase – our application backend: your account and your alarm settings are stored in a database operated by Supabase Inc. in the United States
  • Google (Firebase) – analytics, crash reporting, and sign-in for accounts created before we moved to our current backend
  • RevenueCat – subscription and entitlement management, and attribution of installs to our marketing
  • Intercom – in-app customer support
  • Bunny CDN – delivery of in-app audio content
  • Cloudflare – DNS and network protection

Our product analytics and our website analytics run on software we host ourselves, on servers we operate; no third-party vendor receives that data.

Apple and Spotify act as independent controllers of your account with them, under their own privacy policies.

Log data

If the app runs into an error, we collect diagnostic data through the providers above. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app at that moment, and the time and date of use.

Retention and deletion

We keep your personal data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the app’s settings; when you do, we delete the data associated with it, except for transient technical logs and the deletion cycles of the providers listed above.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including the database that holds your account and alarm settings, which is hosted in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards published by that provider, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies (website)

Our website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our website analytics are cookieless and run on our own servers, which is why no cookie-consent banner is shown. The application itself does not use cookies.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us, and we have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page, and material changes will be announced in the app.
